Java Developer

We are searching for an experienced professional to develop Java based web applications for customer self-care and payment transaction processing.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation and production support of web applications
• Work with users to develop requirements and document expected results
• Develop specification documents including screens, data flows, database interfaces, security
• Develop and document technical design to meet requirements
• Develop Java applications in a J2EE environment
• Test and implement all development work
• Develop release procedures for migrating applications to QA and production environments
• Perform maintenance and enhancements for the applications
• Provide technical analysis and resolution of problems and incident reporting

Experience and knowledge:

• Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline and 3+ years experience developing in a J2EE environment
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSP and tag libraries
• Expertise in Java, Struts2, Spring required
• Experience in using Java with Oracle database
• JBoss/GlassFish/Tomcat, EJB3 experience desirable
• Unix fluency preferred
• Working knowledge of web tier technologies and services oriented architecture (SOA) a benefit
• Strong programming background with experience deploying real-world applications
• Knowledge of best practices for web applications
